Meet Sarah and Izzy
(see more on each therapist below)
We are Sarah and Izzy, the current therapists at Narrative Connections Collective, offering counselling in Adelaide and online across Australia.
We first met as colleagues and connected through a shared commitment to thoughtful, authentic, trauma-informed practice. We are now working together to offer counselling that is collaborative, relational, and grounded in care.
Our shared purpose
We provide narrative-informed and trauma-informed counselling for adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
Our work is guided by:
-
collaborative, ethical practice
-
accessibility and inclusion
-
reflective clinical work and supervision
-
ongoing professional development
-
reducing barriers to therapy where possible
We offer flexible fee options, including payment plans and reduced-fee sessions depending on circumstance. Sarah can also accept GP referrals under a Mental Health Care Plan.
Working as a collective
Narrative Connections Collective is a developing professional community grounded in collaboration, shared resources, and mutual support.
Each therapist works independently as a sole practitioner, while remaining connected through shared values and ongoing professional dialogue.
We are also working toward a sustainable private practice model that supports both practitioners and clients.
Our values
-
humility in practice
-
accessibility of care
-
creativity and flexibility
-
accountability and reflection
-
collective care and connection
How we understand change
We believe people make meaning through the stories they carry, and that healing often involves gently re-authoring these stories in the presence of safety, support, and care.
